Ragnar is our friggebod that offers a stylish and calm space close to nature through 15 perfectly planned square meters. With an optimal floor plan, Ragnar invites you to a place to relax in an airy living room of almost 9 square meters, equipped with a kitchen. Adjacent to the living room is also a fully equipped and spacious bathroom. Glass doors that cover a large part of the 3 meter high wall from the living room create a natural light.
Like all our houses, Ragnar is created with a modern, energy-efficient and biophilic architecture with circadian lighting design. This makes the building both healthy and soothing for humans to live in, while blending in well and creating harmony with nature.
The building's total U-value meets the Swedish building regulations that have been set for very cold climate zones. This means lower heat and energy needs, which leads to lower annual costs for heating.
All our attefallshus and friggebodar are created from sustainable materials constructed of cold-formed steel, recycled from scrap cars. By using recycled steel, the building's walls become thinner than in an ordinary wooden house and higher in the ceiling, which is practical in buildings with loft areas. The thinner walls mean that our houses are 20% larger in terms of interior volume than other house manufacturers.
Ragnar and the rest of our buildings are 100% climate-proof regardless of the environment and have twice the lifespan of traditional house structures, which makes it more environmentally friendly and reduces the carbon footprint. With our construction technology and materials, a fantastic air quality and tightness in the buildings is also created.
