Rollo is one of our attefallshus consisting of 30 perfectly planned square meters, which through its design creates a complete feeling of peace and connection to nature. Rollo invites to socializing in an airy living room of just over 16 square meters, located under a large sleeping loft with space for both a double bed and storage. Adjacent to the living room is also a compact bedroom with work area and a fully equipped and spacious bathroom. Glass sections that cover a large part of the 4m high wall from the living room create a wonderful and natural light.
Like all our houses, Rollo is created with a modern, energy-efficient and biophilic architecture with circadian lighting design. This makes the building both healthy and soothing for humans to live in, while blending in well and creating harmony with nature.
The building's total U-value meets the Swedish building regulations that have been set for very cold climate zones. This means lower heat and energy needs, which leads to lower annual costs for heating.
All our attefallshus and friggebodar are created from sustainable materials constructed of cold-formed steel, recycled from scrap cars. By using recycled steel, the building's walls become thinner than in an ordinary wooden house and higher in the ceiling, which is practical in buildings with loft areas. The thinner walls mean that our houses are 20% larger in terms of interior volume than other house manufacturers.
Rollo and the rest of our buildings are 100% climate-proof regardless of the environment and have twice the lifespan of traditional house structures, which makes it more environmentally friendly and reduces the carbon footprint. With our construction technology and materials, a fantastic air quality and tightness in the buildings is also created.
